About Us:
Dajani Consulting Inc. is a Sacramento-based technology firm who specializes in providing IT consulting to State of CA agencies and beyond. Currently, we are in search of a Sales Development Specialist who has a proven track record of success to join our internal team. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Sandler Sales Training system or knowledge of the system and a willingness to complete it.
Job Details:
- Position Type: Full time, W-2 opportunity
- Compensation: Base pay, plus commission
- Location: Hybrid – We value a work life balance at Dajani Consulting
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am - 5pm
Essential Functions:
- Establish a pipeline and bring viable leads to business
- Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
- Set and meet sales goals and objectives in collaboration with leadership
- Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates
- Conduct presentations to demonstrate to potential clients the benefits of our products
- Establish and maintain healthy, long-term relationship with clients to generate repeat business and referrals
- Discover customers’ needs and offer solutions to them through the company’s services or products
- Research sales statistics and establish sales potential with new businesses in our target area
- Use promotional methods such as phone calls, emails, and social media to reach potential clients and build a long-lasting business relationship with them
- Become an expert in our product offerings and serve as a go-to source for clients who want more information concerning our products
- Determine new ways to make products appealing by observing the environment and current trends
Skills Required:
- Understanding of Enterprise level selling process
- Prospecting / Business development skills including phone, email, social media
- Must be able to absorb and apply feedback
- Above average communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate within a team
- Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated
- Analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to ask for help when needed and reach out to colleagues
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven sales track record
- College Degree preferred
- Previous B2B sales experience
- Enterprise level sales experience preferred
