The Manager of Production Operations for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the reagent formulation operations located in Chaska, Minnesota. The site manufactures highly technical consumables essential to Beckman Coulter Diagnostics.
This position is part of the reagents manufacturing team in Chaska, MN, and will be an onsite role. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide direction to the reagent formulation valuestream to manage Safety, Strategic Planning, and staffing, while meeting product Quality, Delivery, and Productivity
Hire, develop and retain talent in support of site goals and customers’ expectations.
Drive Continuous Process Improvement
Generate budgets and control expenses related to labor, controllable expenses, and manufacturing variances
Lead/Interact with site’s functions such as Materials, Procurement, Quality and EHS
Coach the team through Product and Process related technical Investigations.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry) or Engineering (e.g., Chemical Engineering) and 9 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to run site daily management meetings and set daily priorities
Continuous improvement mindset.
Demonstrated ability to provide constructive performance coaching to individual contributors and supervisors.
Strong business acumen and ability to coach a team of supervisors on workcell capacity planning, budget adherence, and determine/communicate ROI for critical projects.
