Manufacturing Technician I

Dancing Goat Gardens is a locally owned cannabis wholesale company dedicated to producing premium products through sustainable and ethical practices.

Overview:

Dancing Goat Gardens is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician I to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to the production of our cannabis products, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The Manufacturing Technician I will report directly to the Director of Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Setup and Operation: Prepare and operate machinery and equipment for production, ensuring all systems function properly.

- Monitoring and Quality Control: Oversee production processes to maintain product quality and consistency.

- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

- Sanitation: Conduct regular cleaning of machinery, equipment, and manufacturing areas to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards.

- Production: Process and assemble infused and non-infused products per production schedules and supervisor instructions.

- Compliance: Follow company requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet regulatory standards.

- Collaboration: Work with supervisors and team members to troubleshoot issues and maintain production targets and quality standards.

- Inventory Management: Accurately record production activities and materials used.

- Training: Maintain personal training records in line with company policies.

-Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

- Regulatory Compliance: Must obtain a Cannabis Control Division worker permit*, comply with all industry regulations and pass a background check.

- Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing or a related field preferred.

- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, detail-oriented mindset, and excellent communication skills.

- Safety: Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively and follow detailed instructions accurately.

- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including potential overtime and weekends.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

*Preference will be given to candidates with a current CCD worker permit but a worker permit is not required to appy for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
