Under the direction of the Wellness Director, the Assistant Wellness Director is responsible for ensuring overall quality care to our residents in activities of daily living while striving to help residents maintain an independent lifestyle.
Assistant Wellness Director Job Profile
- Maintaining staffing and schedule based on staffing matrix and use of staffing software
- Working to maintain a full staff of employees by assisting with interviewing and training
- Completing resident assessments and coordinating resident care plans
- Communicating effectively with internal staff and external third-party vendors
- Assisting with leading monthly staff meetings and daily team huddles
- Maintaining service agreements and updating physician order sheets as needed
- Setting up charts for new residents and entering appropriate information into the EMAR
- Completing weekly cart, Medication Administration Record, and chart audits and pulling expired medications
- Assistance with entering incident reports and completing investigations
- Other duties as assigned
Assistant Wellness Director Job Requirements
- Experience in a senior care environment in a wellness capacity
- History of managing multiple priorities and achieving desired results within required time frames.
- Flexibility to work beyond normal working hours as needed, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle details with urgency, accuracy, and efficiency, ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner
- Ability to maneuver various computer programs and maintain accurate data entry
