Description
Position Summary:
Supports the front office and accounting department by maintaining quality information in a dynamic environment. Helps further the goals of Dane Manufacturing to ensure that data is entered accurately and timey.
Position Duties Essential Job Functions:
1. Accounting Functions: Processing customer sales orders, invoice sales orders that shipped, enter customer payments, and make customer collection inquiries. Providing accounting support for the holding company AP/AR functions. Cross functional duties will include providing back-up for accounts payable and helping with inventory when needed.
2. Office Manager Functions: Answer the main phone line for callers and connect them as needed. Primary “go to” for ordering supplies for the front office area as needed. Mail pick-up and drop-off. Control the inventory levels of the supplies and keep the breakfast bar/supply areas orderly. Welcome to all employees and visitors who enter our facility.
Requirements
Qualifications:
1. Education: Associate Degree in Accounting or other business field (preferred).
2. Experience: 1-3 years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred);
3. Computer/Software and Office Equipment Skills: Proficiency with MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and proficient in the use of ERP.

Must have an engaging & professional communication style and collaboration skills both in person and on the telephone. Professional written and verbal communication skills are required. Must demonstrate a high level of initiative and ability to establish and maintain effective customer, visitor and vendor relationships by using well-developed and appropriate interpersonal skills.
