Job Description
The location of this position is Searcy, AR. The Financial Analyst reports directly to the Plant Controller. This role is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and relevant financial information and analysis to key business stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, the following.
- Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close.
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual Budget.
- Assist with Capital Appropriation Requests and monitor monthly spending.
- Support the Plant Controller to deliver results and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare ad-hoc cost analysis.
- Assist with annual standard cost roll activities.
- Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of annual Physical Inventory.
- Deliver value-added analysis by investigating the root cause of P&L variances.
- Travel is not necessary.

Required (Basic) Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance
Preferred Qualifications
- Finance experience in a manufacturing environment with Cost Accounting is a plus.
- Foundational knowledge of forecasting, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
- CPA or CMA certification.
Job Criteria
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong collaboration ability with the team and other functions.
- Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines.
