Job Description
Danfoss is seeking a strong and experienced Human Resources Manager to at our Longmont, CO location in the United States. This is an exciting role with deliverables and services that impact the success of the Regional HR team in North America. As the Human Resources Manager, you will make a sustainable impact within the Regional HR team. As the face of HR, you will engage with managers and employees across all levels of the organization and drive operational excellence with a strong focus on efficiency, standardization, and cost in our services. You must be curious to understand the business’ objectives and be able to analyze how effectively these objectives can be supported from an HR perspective.
If you are an HR leader with experience in developing and driving HR initiatives at both operational and tactical level, and with experience managing change in a matrixed organization, this is the role for you. This position reports directly to the Regional Senior HR Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of Danfoss HR policies and processes, i.e. – Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Compliance, Compensation and Benefits, etc. in the business unit
- Serve as the face of HR, act as a HR resource and trusted advisor to employees and managers
- Ensure that sound human resources practices are being followed in the implementation of HR decisions
- Support the development and implementation of organization change initiatives
- Manage the site’s employee relations to include performance issues, on-boarding and the investigation of employee issues
- Oversee activities to improve employee satisfaction, motivation, and engagement in the business
- Support talent and people development in the business in close collaboration with HR Business Partners in the business unit
- Contribute towards the development of an employee-oriented company culture that focuses on quality, continuous improvement, and high performance
- Leading or participate in HR projects initiated in the region, possibly across different locations
Background & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area of Business, Human Resources, or similar program. Master’s degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years of HR experience serving a business or relevant customer base in a manufacturing environment
- HR Certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) highly preferred.
- Leadership, continuous improvement and change management experience
- Ability to translate strategic initiatives into operational/tactical plans with experience in process implementation, change management, leading transformation processes and manage resistance
- Diplomatic, sensitive, and adaptable to the needs of people from different cultures with extensive knowledge in employment laws, affirmative action plans, worker’s compensation, and safety
- Passionate about creating a dynamic and thriving working environment that inspires employees to do their best
- Relationship builder and team player, capable of identifying collaborative solutions to business challenges
- Experience working with employees and business leaders in a matrixed organization from remote or virtual sites
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $95,000-115,000/year. Base salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
