Danfoss Editron in Longmont, CO is searching for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our Manufacturing site. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for safe and efficient plant operation through management of all aspects of the plant maintenance program and maintenance team

Job Responsibilities
- Establish, maintain, and continually develop a results-oriented Maintenance Team through development of a measurement system to monitor key performance indicators with respect to machinery uptime, productivity, quality of work, etc. Identify performance and technical skill gaps to provide development of improvement in team.
- Establish, maintain, and audit a robust maintenance program to improve machine performance and increase uptime utilizing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance methods.
- Coordinate implementation design changes to improve employee safety, increase equipment life span, reduce operating cost, increase production efficiency, and/or improve product quality.
- Develop justification and project plans for tooling, machinery, or other Capital Projects. Identify and analyze potential suppliers of machine parts for cost reduction and improved quality of parts.
- Develop and maintain annual budgets and monthly forecasts for maintenance repairs and expenses with the overarching goal of reducing overall cost of machinery maintenance.
- Continually promote a safe work environment and ensure all regulatory standards and company policies are understood, supported, and followed in the maintenance area.
- Identify, lead, and/or participate in problem solving activities and teams to resolve significant or recurring equipment related failures. Participates with and provides support to various other cross-functional teams.
- Lead the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Program
Background & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
- Previous experience with preventative maintenance systems, such as Maximo
- Lean Manufacturing basics (TPM, 5s, Standard Work)
- Experience in PLC troubleshooting, electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics
- Advanced skills in MS Office.
- Organizational and leadership abilities.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Problem-solving skills.
