Job Description
Danfoss is looking for an enthusiastic Procurement Expert to join our team in Utica, NY. You will identify, plan, execute and communicate projects that have a significant impact on Danfoss’s ability to compete in an increasingly competitive global market.
Job Responsibilities
- Direct and indirect material purchase
- Set Up a Local Sourcing strategy
- Inventory Control
- Interface to the German centre of excellence
- Support of ramping new products (NPI New Product Interface)
- BOM verification and setup
- Pricing control
- Shortage Escalation
- Material availability for scheduled productions
- Local point of contact for all purchasing related issues
- Support of Import activities through GTS
Background & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or related field
- 2-3 years experience in procurement
- Experience working in SAP
- Very good level of knowledge Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- ability to communicate in English and German (preferred)
