Danner's Inc., a long-standing Maritime Transportation and Security company is looking to add a Security Installation Field Technician to our team in Pasadena.
We are looking for individuals that can work in a fast-paced production environment, be a self-starter who is comfortable in learning new tools and has a passion for producing a quality product.
As an entry level technician, you'll be trained in our process and methods.

Key Responsibilities :
- Service access control, intrusion and CCTV Security systems
- Perform scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment / systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working order.
Record productive time versus travel time.
- Complete maintenance within assigned hours, in a manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving the goal of zero call backs.
- Make plan schedules, lay out basic electrical equipment installations, and assist in the start-up and check-out of new system installations.
- Present a professional image both in personal and vehicle appearance, in accordance with company policies.
- Perform work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost limits.
Schedule :
Monday- Friday with occasional weekends and opportunities for overtime.
Competitive hourly rates starting at $19.00 / hour.
Qualified applicants shall meet the following general & physical duties & requirements :
General Duties & Requirements :
- Must be age 24 or older to apply REQUIRED
- Must possess a valid Texas driver's license
- Must be able to proficiently speak, read & write English
- Must be employment eligible based on background requirements to include criminal background check, clean MVR, health / drug screen
- Be dependable and willing to learn our fabrication methods and procedures.
- General knowledge of welding (e.g. mig welding)
- Ability to operate fabricating equipment (including but not limited to, press break, drill presses, bandsaws)
- Ability to provide back up support to Video Department.
- Ability to operate a forklift and a Skid Steer loader.
- Ability to pull a gooseneck or bumper pull trailer.
- Ability to use straps and loops to secure equipment and loads on trucks and trailers.
- Create and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

- 2-4 yrs Background in structured cabling installation
- 2-4 yrs Background in video surveillance camera installation permanent or temporary
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
- Avigilon, Axis, or Genetec system knowledge preferred

- Lifting / Carrying up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Walking of distance
- Standing for longer periods of time
- Sitting for longer periods of time
- Average / Good vision
- Ability to climb ladders that extend up to 24' in height.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling
- Other physical demands may be required as needed.
