What are the responsibilities and job description for the BDR - PES HR Assistant/Receptionist position at Danos?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (This is a representative list of the duties the position may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive.)
• Answer incoming phone calls directed to the HR Department
• Greet visitors and job applicants within the HR lobby/reception area
• File and maintain personnel records
• Process new hire candidates which includes: weld test scheduling, medical/drug screenings, ensuring employment applications are completed correctly and going over new hire paperwork with new employees
• Complete personnel documents
• Perform general administrative duties which include sorting paperwork for filing, making copies of personnel records, preparing new employee files, creating new hire packets and benefits packets
• Update new hire and termination spreadsheets/logs
• Save all received applications and/or resumes and update the application spreadsheet/log accordingly
• Assist with scheduling for job candidates for interviews
• Monitor employee tracking spreadsheet and contact employees to schedule updated physicals and drug screens, and to get updated copies of driver license, TWIC card, passport.
• Monitor crew manifest emails to contact employees before items expire
• Assist with requests from international group, such as providing copies of passports and completing contact forms
• Place accounting codes on medical invoices
• Order office supplies for the HR Department
• Create various shipping labels as neede
