Pipeline technician

Job Duties : * Plan and perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities for gas pipelines, dehydration equipment, overpressure protection devices, separation and other related appurtenances* Develop spreadsheets and databases to track and analyze pipeline efficiencies, pigging schedules, DOT compliance issues, O&M costs* Coordinate new well connect activity* Review, maintain and modify pipeline drawings, maps, plats, etc* Communicate and coordinate maintenance projects on all pipelines and related facilities with production foremen and with field superintendents* Ensure compliance with DOT, OCC, ODEQ, EPA, FERC, One-Call and other regulatory agencies where applicable.

Responsible for all DOT / OCC compliance issues* Perform assessments of company facilities to ensure compliance with industry and company O&M procedures and practices* Maintain strict surveillance and enforcement of security, safety and environmental rules and procedures at company facilities* Perform all duties in accordance with Chesapeake's Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines Perform other related duties as assignedJob Specific Skills : * Basic knowledge of the requirements for DOT, OCC, FERC, EPA, ODEQ One-Call and other applicable regulatory agencies* Able to be hands-on, capable of interacting effectively at every level within the business* Operate as a team player as well as be a goal-oriented individual who functions with the highest level of integrity and professionalismCompetencies : * Communicates Effectively Decision Quality Demonstrates Self-Awareness Drives Results* Action Oriented* Business Insight / Financial Acumen* Collaborates Values DifferencesQualifications : * High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 0 - 2 years related work experience or an equivalent substitution for education of 4 - 6 years related work experience* Must possess valid drivers license and have a good driving record.
