Job Title:  Shop Technician – Operations 

Schedule:  5/2 

Location:   Odessa, TX

Responsibilities:

• Have a professional attitude with good communication skills and motivation to advance
• Must be orientated with all company policies and complete all required safety training
• Ability to operator a forklift; May be required to complete forklift training certification
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be in compliance with required PPE policy of shop and or field assignments
• Able to use power tools safely with or without supervision
• Organize/maintain order in shop and yard including organization and well keeping of shop tools, equipment, storage items and manage all weed control around yard
• Install GPS for all fleet, scheduling of fleet maintenance, and ability to work closely with Operations management and personnel for day to day requests and assignments
• Able to respectfully communicate unsafe processes or situations to others

Physical and Competency Requirements:

• Lifting and or carrying of objects up to 50 pounds, unrestricted walking, bending, kneeling and standing, sitting 
• Must successfully complete agility test (physical)
• General housekeeping and field maintenance and upkeep
• Perform mandatory paperwork as assigned
• Daily monitoring of shop, yard and fleet upkeep, maintenance, scheduled maintenance
• Non-scheduled callouts outside of normal business hours

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous Shop Tech or Fleet Tech experience required; 
• Previous forklift experience required; current forklift certification preferred
• Ability to work a Monday – Friday, 40 hour work week on a regular basis
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, MVR, agility 

Salary : $17 - $20
