What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Operator position at DAP Global Inc.?
The DAP plant in Tipp City, OH has multiple Utility Operator openings on 2nd shift in the Adhesives products area. The Adhesive side of the DAP Plant is Unionized by UAW. Candidates who are team-oriented and work well in a fast-paced environment will find a rewarding career at DAP. No experience required.
Responsibilities
- Package materials and attach labels
- Fill 5- and 55-gallon containers, drums and pails
- Operate palletizer
- Read and change tank readings on compounding board
- Read and record thermometer readings
- Visually inspect products and packaging for proper specifications
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area clean and orderly.
- May be assigned other duties when necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Physical requirements: Ability to stand for prolonged periods; occasional walking and sitting. Bending, twisting, climbing ladders, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to perform job duties in accordance with established safety rules
- Must be able to work 2nd shift
Pay & Benefits
Starting pay:
$17.72/hour (2nd shift)
- Sing-On Bonus: $2,000
