Foreman

Job Summary

The Foreman is responsible for managing all plant operations and employees during any designated assigned shift.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily plant operations as directed by the Plant Manager.
• Ensures proper operation of all equipment; supervises all tasks performed by process operators and any others on assigned shift.
• Oversees logistics of raw material and finish feed activities; maintains quality assurance.
• Responsible for accuracy and tracking of plant production reporting for assigned shift(s).
• Monitors hours of employees under his/her authority; reports shift inefficiencies; ensures employees are working to highest potential.
• Maintains cleanliness of plant at all times and at end of shift.
• Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial or plant setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good mechanical skills; knowledge of plant processes and equipment.
• Work well with others in a team; demonstrates leadership ability.
• Highly organized and able to multi-task; superior time management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
• Safety-conscious and detail oriented.
