Dart Transit Company has an immediate opportunity for an energetic, ambitious, and dedicated Weekend Account Manager at its corporate headquarters in Eagan, MN.
We are looking for the best and brightest to provide superior customer service and support.
Hours: Thursday – Sunday, 6 am – 5 pm or Friday - Monday 6 am - 5 pm
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Account Manager would have an in-depth knowledge of the assigned account.
- Maintain relationship with the customer representative, lead all customer calls, and utilize calls to review service and all critical account issues.
- Maintain and understand customers’ metrics including commitments, EDI and trailers, load acceptance and rejection, and On-Time Delivery and Pick-ups.
- Create and coordinate shipments of goods.
- Efficiently pull tenders, enter freight, communicate changes to freight, and update EDI with appropriate service codes.
- Set pickup and delivery appointments with warehouses and consignees.
- Track the status of shipments via contact with drivers and/or GPS monitoring from inception to delivery and communicate with the customer on the status of the shipment.
- Understand zone balances and prioritize loads and customers.
- Solicit for needs of the network to keep drivers and contractors active.
- Be a liaison between customers and all departments, vendors, and areas on customer metrics, solicitation, accessorials, customer profiles, and equipment.
- Work with customers to get accessorials and line-haul charges paid and collected in a reasonable time frame.
- Go through all freight in the network and update internal and external customers on changes or issues with freight.
- Identify challenges and come up with solutions for all parties involved.
- Update and maintain customer information in our Operations software.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance, perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, and cover for teammates during lunch hours and days off.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
