Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Accurate physical receiving of materials/product to maintain integrity of inventory control and insures delivery of materials/product to the proper department.
- Receives product deliveries.
- Ensures purchase order number is on all paperwork.
- Records and checks quantity and quality of good received.
- Inspect, accept, or reject inbound shipments.
- Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer for product returns/repair.
- Properly inputs received material into computer system.
- Delivers product to appropriate internal personnel.
- Assists in other departments as needed.
- Perform cycle counts regularly.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors and managers.
- Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations.
- Maintains job-related confidentiality.
- Understands and adheres to organizational and department policy and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to operate with a sense of teamwork.
- Ability to always conducts himself/herself in a professional manner.
- Must be certified to operate sit down forklift. (Clamp experience is a plus, but not required)
- Computer literate
- English is a must to be able to communicate with Account Managers
- A minimum of 2 years warehouse experience is required.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours & walk 6-8 hours.
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Intermittent bending up to 3 hours. Including:
o Bending neck
o Bending waist
o Twisting waist
· Intermittent squatting up to 3 hours
- Repetitive hand movement up to 8 to 12 hours including:
- Simple grasping, hand manipulation, pushing/pulling.
- Reach above and below shoulder height.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
