What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketing Intern position at Data Axle?
Data Axle is looking for a college level student to assist our Marketing team as an intern. You will work closely with key Marketing stakeholders and will take on a variety of tasks that allow for the successful completion of marketing programs. This may include digital marketing aspects such as email marketing, marketing automation, content marketing, web analytics, research and analysis, but with a main focus on paid media and lifecycle marketing. A successful candidate will be extremely organized and be able to manage tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of paid media plans
- Conduct analysis on Leads generated from paid media efforts
- Assist in the maintenance and optimization of paid campaigns via platforms such as LinkedIn, Google Ads and Bing Ads, as well as retargeting campaigns
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of key digital marketing dashboards
- Maintain and update reports on marketing results and project status
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of lead nurturing/lifecycle programs
- Coordinate with members of the corporate marketing team to help ensure integrated marketing campaigns flow smoothly
- Assist in the development and deployment of online and offline marketing projects and initiatives
- Proofread email and ad copy for spelling, grammar, and layout
- Assist in website reporting and website updates as needed
- Conduct market research and ad hoc asks as necessary
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a Marketing degree program required
- Previous marketing and/or internship experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the company and with various business contacts outside of the company in an articulate, professional manner
- Writing, editing, proofreading, grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Must be able to multi-task to meet strict deadlines
- Self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a courteous and professional demeanor
- Ability to be meticulous with accuracy and detail
- Must be deadline sensitive and adaptable to change
- Must be a team player
