Job Description
UX Designer Full-time Rutherford, NJ Need to operate from office at least 4-days a week
The UX Designer will be responsible for designing digital products that create engaging and intuitive user experiences. This role requires experience in user experience (UX) design, a deep understanding of user research, and proficiency in design software and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct user interviews, user research to gain insights into user needs, behaviors, personas and their preferences.
2. Design and create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups for digital products that align with user needs and business goals.
3. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with business objectives and technical feasibility.
4. Adhere to customer’s style guides and design patterns to establish consistency within the product.
5. Participate in user testing and incorporate user feedback into design iterations.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging design standards and technologies.
7. Articulate design decisions to stakeholders and cross-functional team members.
8. Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and to specifications.
9. Advocate for the user and ensure designs meet accessibility and usability standards.
10. Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, testing, and analysis.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a technical degree in a related field.
2. 7-10 years of experience in UX design with a portfolio of work highlighting design thinking, process, and execution.
3. Strong proficiency in design software tool Figma. Experience in other design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
4. Strong understanding of user research, user testing, and data analysis.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
7. Passion for creating engaging, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing user experiences.
8. Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
9. Experience in Agile delivery working with teams across regions
