Who you are:
You are a student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a similar field. You write clean, well-structured code, and are passionate about code quality. You believe in the importance of reliable, scalable, and robust test automation. You advocate for quality and enjoy collaborating with a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing new, and refining existing, automation tests aligned with our microservice architecture to improve and enhance our test coverage
- Ensure proper test coverage across our entire architecture and work towards closing gaps in test coverage
- Have an in-depth understanding of our SDLC and ensure that our automation tests enable QA, Engineers, and the rest of the development team to work seamlessly together to deliver high-quality software.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree (B.S./M.S./PhD) in Computer Science or related field
- Solid understanding of object oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with Selenium
- Experience with Java and/or Python
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JavaScript
- Experience with NodeJS
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with git
