- Pharmaceutical - experience working with Clinical trial data sets.
- Experience working with Real World Data sets.
- Experience working with clinical trial data and on randomized/observational study designs.
- 3 years’ experience as a lead statistician - serving as lead statistician and/or statistical consultant on study design and analyses & presenting results to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in both SAS & R programming languages.
Our Pharma client is looking to hire an experienced Statistician to support the Medical & Real World Data Analytics (MRWDA) team in evidence generation across Client’s therapeutic areas of neuroscience, nephrology, and digital medicine. MRWDA, situated within the Data & Analytics division, serves these goals by using clinical trial and real-world data sources to better understand diseases and the treatments that doctors prescribe for patients. We develop advanced analytics for these datasets to uncover new insights that can inform treatment patterns and highlight the value of new therapies.
The initial contract is 12 months, with extensions likely. The position is 100% remote, within the United States.
Minimum requirements include:
- Experience working with Clinical trial data sets.
- Experience working with Real World Data sets.
- Experience working with clinical trial data and on randomized/observational study designs.
- 3 years’ experience as a lead statistician - serving as lead statistician and/or statistical consultant on study design and analyses & presenting results to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in both SAS & R programming languages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or related quantitative background, graduate degree or coursework (Masters or PhD-level or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience working with clinical trial data and on randomized/observational study designs.
- Ideal candidates will have.
- Appetite for creativity – the team is truly looking for candidates who have excellent understanding of statistical theory and is able to develop new/different/creative statistical analysis plans.
- Familiarity with R shiny apps OR borrowing historical/real-world data (e.g., Bayesian, propensity score matching).
- CDISC standards (e.g., ADaM domains/specs) and clinical trial data, especially phase 3 studies.
- Experience with report generation including generation of publication quality tables and figures.
- Experience with using simulation (e.g., MCMC).
