DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC
*This position is hybrid.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the implementation of Phase 2 of a new Case Management Solution. This development effort is being performed in multiple phases. Phase 1 has been completed. This position is required to work in a rapid-paced development team environment that uses JavaScript, VBScript, Visual Basic, .NET, and SQL Server.
- Support business process analysis and do various levels of testing towards implementation of a new case management solution.
- Understanding and development of business processes and data flows
- Document detailed business requirements related to the business processes
- Conduct detailed analysis between the business requirements
- Understanding gap analysis, requirement traceability matrix, and assist with development of project artifacts including business requirements/user stories to create all-inclusive test case scenarios, create test cases to meet functional, integration, system, regression and performance test phases.
- Documenting and tracking the requirements traceability, participating in user acceptance testing, project level and technical documentation.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Agile Testing with Scrum methodology
- MS SQL Server and SQL
- Telerik Test Studio performance and automation testing tool
- HP LoadRunner & Quality Center ALM testing tool
Required Skills:
- 7 Years - Extensive knowledge of applicable business information systems, business system analysis techniques and testing methodologies
- 7 Years - Demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements and developing of business rules and process flows
- 7 Years - Proven experience with business process design, definition and/or re-design
- 5 Years - Experience with industry standard Business Analysis methodologies and problem solving
- 5 Years - Experience in developing test scenarios and test cases and execution of user acceptance testing
- 5 Years - Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Visio) and Microsoft Project
- 5 Years - Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to facilitate small-to-large meetings
- 5 Years - Demonstrable analytical skills and an attention to detail
- 5 Years - Excellent creative thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
- 5 Years - Proactive, quality oriented, with demonstrated leadership and team building skills
- 3 Years - Hands on experience in solution testing using industry standard tools
- 3 Years - Experience with interpreting business requirements to create all-inclusive test case scenarios, test cases and UAT
- 3 Years - Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM
- 3 Years - Experience testing against Microsoft .NET C# applications
- 3 Years - Minimum SQL Server 2016 or higher experience
- 3 Years - SQL experience
- 3 Years - Microsoft Power BI experience
