Title: CHAMP Business Analyst
Location: Boston, MA - Hybrid
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
Business Analyst will provide systems analysis while considering the business and technical implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments.
Duties include:
- create process change through the integration of new processes with
- existing ones and communication of changes to business users;
- develop and modify moderately complex information;
- facilitate the delivery of technical business solutions; analyze business and user needs, document
- requirements and devise technical solutions;
- recommend and facilitate quality improvement efforts; and work with more senior members of a project team to develop the site concept and interface design of the web site. This Resource will report to the Project Manager but will be directed, as necessary, by the Senior Project Manager contracted resource.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyzes Requirements and Business Processes in order to make recommendations for user improvement
- Diagrams User Workflows for review by Project Staff and use by Users
- Designs and maintain technical and project documentation including User, Systems, and Training Documentation
- Identifies, drafts, and coordinates the review of any documents that will be generated by the system as part of a user workflow
- Coordinates with the project Training Vendor to transfer information on business workflows and system function
- Coordinates with the Centralized Processing Vendor on the implementation of new functionality
- Tests Requirements for the purpose of understanding system functionality and impact on user
- workflows/identifying confusing workflows for users
- Utilizes strong organizational, presentation, and customer services skills to interact with various project team members
- Identifies and solves complex project issues as they arise DHCD may negotiate changes to the original performance measures and requirements identified herein at any time, to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, policies, and program goals. DHCD may negotiate and execute contract amendments with the awarded Consultant which DHCD reasonably determines are within the scope of this posting and necessary to result in best value to the Commonwealth.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in the following: MS Office, MS Visio or equivalent, JIRA, Confluence, Adobe Acrobat
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, Business, Public Policy or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes
- Experience designing and maintaining technical and user documentation
- Experience Coordinating with multiple team resources
- Former local, state, federal government experience preferred
