What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Cleaner position at DATTCO?
DATTCO has an opening for a Bus Cleaner at our Fairhaven, MA location. This is a first shift 25-30 hour part time position.
DATTCO is a third generation, family-owned company and is currently the largest passenger transportation company in New England.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Inspects and cleans all luggage storage bays, overhead passenger storage areas, windows, and floors.
- Empties trash receptacles and trash from interior of vehicle.
- Brush and vacuum as needed.
- Sanitizes floors and fixtures.
- Cleans exterior of vehicle.
- Fuels buses as needed.
- Understands OSHA safety rules and promotes a safe work environment.
- Ability to move and park different types of buses
- Daily attendance at work
- Plus, other duties as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid MA driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Dependable.
- Self-starter.
- Must be able to pass an in-yard driving test of all vehicles
- Must be able to maneuver large vehicles including double decker’s around facility
- Operate fuel pump
