What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor position at Daughters of Charity Ministries?
The Daughters of Charity Ministries is a congregate living facility for the Daughters of Charity. We are located at 96 Menand Rd in Albany, NY on a beautiful parklike setting. Vehicle parking is onsite. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a full time janitor. Benefits are available. Some of the responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Maintain general building interior including mopping, sweeping and waxing floors. clean offices, hallways and stairwells, public bathrooms, elevators and other public areas.
- Removal of trash.
- Perform commercial laundry duties.
- Maintain general upkeep of assigned areas
- Maintain a safe, working environment
- Participate in achieving departmental/facility goals
- Utilize opportunities to develop job skills
- Maintain confidentiality
