Vibrant established ophthalmology/optometry practice with a high volume of refractive surgery seeking the right individual to fill the important role of Director of Laser Vision Correction.
The Director of Laser Vision Correction is responsible for assisting the patient with all aspects of the surgery process in order to make the experience as smooth as possible, acting as an effective liaison between the patient, surgeon, referring doctor and surgical staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional patient experience during the consultation and pre-operative portion of the Laser Vision Correction surgery and advanced cataract appointments, including but not limited to proper patient education and counseling, and scheduling LVC procedures
- Explain the lens and technology options to cataract patients
- Discuss out of pocket and elective procedures
- Accurately prepare patient charts for upcoming procedures
- Respond timely and accurately to patient phone and email inquiries
- Proactively follow-up with non-committed patients, engaging in the education process
- Coordinate referrals for surgery by working closely with co-managing doctors in scheduling surgery and post-operative appointments.
- Effectively collaborate with management to promote exceptional patient experience.
- Order post-op ophthalmic medications for patients

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
