Co-Leadership

Davis Hardware is a hardware store that is celebrating 75 years of service to the Pensacola area. We are looking to hire a Co-leader team to continue our excellent customer service and help promote profitability. We have some of the team created, looking to add one more to complete the team. This will be a full-time position consisting of a Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday with the ability to alternate schedules with the co-leader. Team will be responsible for the management of staff, customers and inventory. As a successful team with your previous management experience, you will be able to oversee the workforce and track the financial performance of the store. Business casual attire to be discussed. Ultimately, you will ensure that all operations are running smoothly, sales are responded to effectively, to develop customer relations and the ability to earn bonus gifts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop sales promotions for the team leaders and part time associates
• Establish goals and objectives with Co-leader
• Assess performance and provide feedback to improve performance of the team and part-time associates
• Plan strategies to achieve objectives
• Create work schedules for part time associates
• Manage inventory and stock products appropriately
• Regularly communicate with customers (e.g. answer questions about products or show products)
• Store procedures (e.g. open and close)
• Daily POS procedures

Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Retail/ Store Manager and knowledge in plumbing, electrical, fasteners, hand tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to multi-task with customer influx
• Good understanding of sales and marketing techniques
• Track record of achieving sales goals in a timely manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
