Nightingale Clinical Care, PC, owned by Dr. Ehsan Shahmir, is a team of advanced practice clinicians. The ideal candidate will lead and manage the team of Nurse Practitioner Managers. Including oversight, coaching, supervision and onboarding of NP Managers. The position is responsible for the general management and oversight of the clinical processes, programs, and services of Nightingale Clinical Care, PC (NCC). The role provides operational leadership, advice, and direction to NCC to ensure safe, efficient, therapeutic, and ethical care and services. Additionally, will work closely with operational and business leadership, providing clinical guidance supporting business results. This position is a key member of NCC's leadership team!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.
- Leads development and execution of operational and clinical interventions to achieve clinical operational performance and outcomes (NCC KPIs) through management of NP Managers. Expected to report back regularly on metric performance and action planning.
- Manages and provides leadership direction to NCC NP managers.
- Responsible for managing NP managers' performance, development, training, retention, and employee relations. Director is expected to provide in person support, coaching, and performance monitoring of NPs and NP Managers.
- Maintains collaborative working relationships will all levels of management, including with external partners and physicians
- Participates in the development and management of clinical operations and NCC budgets.
- Evaluate projects and processes to ensure cost and operational effectiveness.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in related area required
- MSN or MBA required; must be a licensed and board certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of CA
- Experience managing a clinical team
- Demonstrated track record of successful fiscal and operating management; demonstrated financial expertise preferred
- Demonstrated experience in planning and managing at multiple operational levels
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Proficiency with Cerner EHR, Vsee, other clinical IT platforms preferred
- Ability to work with confidential information and capacity to use discretion and professional judgement
- Dialysis experience preferred
TRAVEL AND TIME REQUIREMENTS
- Travel: > 50% (within California)
- Nights/Weekends: <5%
