Dawn Burke HR is sourcing candidates for an established, Birmingham-based organization with an excellent opportunity for secretarial professionals.

Our client is seeking a full-time Secretary to join their team.

The Secretary will be responsible for the following things:

  • Typing, Dictation and Transcription. Using dictation tools to transcribe, draft, edit, and finalize documents.
  • Client Support: Will directly interact, communicate, answer questions, and provide support for all clients (in person, through email, or by phone). And as the first person our clients interact with, will create a friendly, open environment to welcome visitors.
  • File Management: Open, organize, and manage all files, including electronic and manual case records.

Requirements/Experience:

  • Typing and dictation experience is a must.
  • Two years of secretarial experience is highly preferred but not required.
  • Must type 40 wpm.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks (and people) at the same time and follow up on delegated assignments.
  • Have a flexible mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
