JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing and Social Media Coordinator functions as the department’s administrative support. They facilitate internal and external communications, Marketing Department finances and co-op advertising, and in-store events. They create, curate, and manage social media platforms and serve as a communication liaison for store employees.

Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee the Day’s Co-Op Advertising Program, including but not limited to; manage program specifications unique to each vendor, develop an efficient tracking system for available funds, file claims, follow-up on outstanding claims and effectively communicate claim information monthly to the Finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Creative and administrative support for marketing projects.
- Ensure effective execution of Day’s social media plans. Including but not limited to; work in conjunction with other members of the Marketing team to create and publish media posts, monitor and respond to customer comments, questions, and reviews.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration with store operations. Act as the primary communication liaison between the marketing department and store employees.
- Conduct routine store visits.
- Coordinate and attend in-store and community events.
- Manage administrative responsibilities of the department.
- Create, curate, and manage social media platforms.
- Create and schedule emails.
- Facilitate marketing department finances and co-op advertising program.
- Create and publish quarterly company newsletter.
- Create and maintain marketing department forms.
- Create blogs and other written materials upon request.
- Create in-store marketing materials.
- Facilitate the installation of in-store displays, including show windows and signs.
- Facilitate distribution of marketing materials to the stores.
- Assist with the maintenance of master mailing lists and create sub-lists as directed by the Creative Director.
- Publish agenda, take minutes, and distribute minutes for marketing meetings.
- Suggest, create, and update policies and procedures for the Marketing Department, as directed by the Creative Director.
- Assist Creative Director with various other duties as directed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or other related field
- 2 years of experience in marketing or related field
TRAVEL
This position requires up to 25% travel mostly between store locations. The primary functions of this position will be performed on-site at our corporate office.
