Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Strategic Project Manager (SPM) who will be responsible for overseeing the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects in alignment with our company's strategy, commitments, and goals. As the SPM, you will play a vital role in acquiring resources, coordinating team efforts, and collaborating with third-party contractors to ensure successful project delivery. This position encompasses a range of projects, including some of the highest profile endeavors within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide project management for single or multi-site communications projects, including subcontractor management, timeline development and communication, budget management, scope management, stakeholder management, and ensuring customer and company success.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, working closely with internal and external teams to deliver successful projects.
- Travel to customer and/or partner locations as required, ensuring the completion of customer-mandated training.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management concepts, construction project management, and familiarity with the National Fire Code.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), effective persuasion and negotiation abilities, troubleshooting and problem-solving aptitude, quick adaptation to new technologies and hardware, efficient collaboration with customers and suppliers, delegation skills, and strong follow-up.
