The Arc Allegany-Steuben is a not-for-profit organization that supports people with developmental and intellectual disabilities so they realize their goals and dreams and become the best they can be.   JOB SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Life Coach V and Life Coach X this position is responsible for maintaining an environment in the Day and Residential programs which encourages and facilitates optimal personal development and provides person directed services and ensures the health and safety of the individuals served.  You will provide services to individuals as planned in their Life Plan, which includes the person's individual Protective Oversight Plan (IPOP), Residential Staff Action Plan, Support Plans, Day Habilitation Plans, Community Habilitation Plans, Staff Action Plans, and other safeguards, and ensure all related documentation is completed. You will act as an advocate for people receiving support from the agency, support individuals so they may be included and participate in their community, and work collaboratively with others to ensure individuals' health and wellbeing is respected. Our Life Coaches also enjoy medical insurance, flexible spending programs, paid time off, discount programs, a retirement plan, associate recognition programs, as well as holiday, bereavement, and jury duty pay.
