What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance position at Days Inn?
- Responsibilities: General maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring, HVAC, pool and spa , hotel equipment. Maintain clean and orderliness of all community areas, office and storage areas. Participates in fire and safety prevention. Performs preventive maintenance and corrects work order on a timely manner. Answers to emergency calls and provides on Call support when needed. Assist in daily schedule, forecasting work project and inventory control. Adhere to budget guidelines. Work closely with general manager. Ensures implementation of policies , standard and procedures of facility.
Requirements:
- Must have experience and background in general maintenance/property maintenance.
- Basic set of hand tools for use in routine job duties.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Pool certification is a plus
- Knowledge of hotel mechanical equipment.
- Good history of dependability and job performance
