What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician/Receptionist position at Dayton Optometric Center?
We are looking for a fast paced Technician to be the Doctors Tech and a face of the office. You will be expected to perform a variety of tasks requested from the doctor such as; completing preliminary testing before the patients exam, cleaning rooms, stocking rooms etc. To be successful in this position, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. We are looking for full time 33-35 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
- Taking patients back to do preliminary testing for the doctor, cleaning doctors rooms once a patient is gone etc.

- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)

- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
