Position Description Summary: Accumulate, analyze, forecast and report a variety of financial data used in the decision-making process of the business. Responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control. Perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, operating forecasts, and others. Provide economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, NPV and EVA. Provide a variety of financial data used in the decision-making process of the organization. Analyze and project all aspects of company financial performance to provide managerial visibility. Responsible for the collection of an assigned portfolio. This includes collections of receivables, monitoring cash violations, billing inquiries and customer disputes. Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.): · Assist in the coordination of the Forecast, Annual Operating and Strategic planning processes · Monitor and analyze monthly financial performance, provide variance explanations and advise line management of deviations and recommend actions to ensure business goals are met · Review all systems, structures and processes to identify where improvements can be made to enhance overall operating and financial performance · Gather business intelligence to support assumptions used to derive forecast and Plan results · Prepare financial analysis to focus management’s attention on potential pitfalls and added-value activities · Participate in projects and support operating profit improvement and growth initiatives · Active communication of all important financial related topics to all operational and business units involved. Generation, processing and escalation of alerts and early warning information. · Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies · Provide training, performance feedback and disciplinary recommendations, as needed The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation. Working Environment: Assignment Complexity - Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Act as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Accountability - Provide immediate supervision or assigns tasks to a unit or group of employees. Provides general or direct supervision to nonexempt employees. A portion of time may be spent performing individual tasks. Impact of Decisions - Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve goals results in additional costs and personnel, and serious delays in overall schedules. Working Relationships - Regularly interacts with peers, subordinates and functional groups at various management levels concerning matters of significantly complex scope and discretion. Scope - Receive assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives. Provide guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules. Establishes and recommends changes to policies which effect subordinate organization(s). Essential Functions: Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
