RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the project management practices in an Agile environment for a developer team. Practices may be Scrum and/or Kanban based
- Work with customer to obtain a full understanding of the project scope and then communicate project needs to the rest of the development team
- Act as liaison between customer and development team providing updates to both parties ensuring that the project remains on schedule to hit deadlines
- Identify early on in the project lifecycle any potential future issues that might affect a new project
- Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, estimation, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, burndown tracking and other project management related meetings
- Manage team workflow of tasks and develop implementation plans
- Provide summaries of teamwork at internal reviews and demos
- Responsible to regularly report project status to senior management
- Ensure progress toward goals, KPIs and commitments; guide team to deliver superior quality output
- Evaluate and remove impediments to ensure team productivity remains high. Escalate issues as necessary
- Continuously identify additional tools and processes to improve productivity
- Responsible for other projects and company duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior Project Management experience for a software team, preferably in an Agile environment
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 1-2 years industry experience
- Product Owner Certification or similar credential preferred
- FileMaker experience preferred
- Experience collaborating between all levels of staff
- Ability to stick to project schedules and meet deadlines
- Understanding of software lifecycle development practices and standards
- Drive to continuously improve processes and company technologies
- Ability to create lasting relationships with teams, vendors, partners, and leadership
- Must reside in Indiana, Ohio, New York, Texas, or Colorado
