What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Driver position at DBI SERVICES?
The Traveling HFST CDL driver reports to the Operations Manager, performing High Friction pavement surface treatment on roadways throughout the country with a small crew. Applicants from anywhere in the United States are encouraged to apply to this Nationwide opportunity.
Essential Job Functions
- Performs hand spreading of aggregate
- Tapes off/protects utilities
- Operates blowers and walk-behind grinders
- Locates water, fuel, etc. at all times.
- Loads and unloads of Truck with any equipment and or required chemicals, water, etc.
- Conducts truck inspections (responsible for truck/spray system maintenance and repairs)
- Drives company vehicles
- Uses all equipment safely
- Performs other duties as assigned
