Job Title: Machining and Metallic Component Analyst
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Job Description:
- Costing Associate – Manufactured Components, Processes and Tooling
- 5 years direct experience in metals machining, tooling design & manufacturing
- Comprehensive understanding of tool design and costs for:
- Metal forming: Cold forming, Casting, Stamping, And Forging
- Component machining: machines, processes, direct machining experience desired
- Knowledge of materials properties, applications, and ideal usage
- Mechanical background
- CNC machine understanding or operation.
- Understanding of Alloy Material compositions.
- Primary processes of alloy metals. (Forgings Castings, Stampings)
- Secondary process of alloy metals. (CNC Machining, Heat treating, Coatings)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Auburn Hills, MI 48326: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Metal stud framing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Machining: 1 year (Preferred)
