Salary Range: $52,266 - $84,148 FLSA Status: Exempt
Essential Functions:

Conducts research and analysis to assist in the management of collection operations; compiles and monitors various administrative and statistical data, collections, and financial activities of the department; researches collections, financial and other information; analyzes data and identifies trends; reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing operations; assists department with programs and procedures related to collections policies; makes recommendations; and prepares and generates related reports.
Monitors revenue recovery and collections activities within departmental systems; ensures correct and timely allocation of accounts receivable payments; and reconciles with customer accounts to facilitate management of cash flow.
Assists the department managers with strategic and long-range planning for collection operations; participates in planning efforts; and ensures compliance with established collections and financial policies and procedures.
Makes recommendations for changes in policies and procedures to improve operations, provide more responsive service, and/or optimize the use of resources; develops recommendations; provides technical assistance and information to management to aid decision making; and maintains and updates procedure manuals as needed.
Assists in maintaining and monitoring accounts receivable; troubleshoots problems and errors; resolves order and invoice disputes; and works with other County departments to reconcile issues as needed.
Assists in managing technology and computer systems; reviews and analyzes effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develops strategies for improvements; and assists in the planning, design, development, and testing of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field; one year of experience in call center collections, call center operations or closely related field required; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
