What are the responsibilities and job description for the EKG Technician position at DCA?
EKG Tech/Stress Tech Assistant assists in both clerical and clinical areas of Nuclear Medicine. Maintains professional and effective working relationships with all staff. Achieves positive relationships with patients, families, and visitors. Work ethic and performance must meet company standards. Assists technologist with positioning patients, explaining the study to the patience, and performing any necessary pre-testing (electrocardiogram) as needed. Must be able to perform blood pressures, perform and read EKG's, and has the ability to use the treadmill for testing. Assists with monitoring of patients during and after studies as needed. Monitor and replenish necessary stock in a timely manner. Assists in cleaning the room and keeping it an orderly fashion. Clerical duties can include verifying schedules, contacting patients to verify appointments, and assisting patients as needed with any questions.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
