Senior Marketing and Communications Specialist

DCG Communications (DCG) is seeking a motivated Marketing and Communications Specialist (Senior Account Executive) to support the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) in implementing and promoting Veterans' access to quality and affordable care. In this role, you will create and maintain targeted media strategy to support our client’s nationwide program rollout. The Marketing and Communications Specialist will oversee research, planning, and execution of project marketing and communications, work with the client to provide and implement solutions for advertising, marketing, public relations, branding, and strategy, and provide key written communications for stakeholders.

Location: This position is fully remote. The selected candidate will work during DCG’s core Eastern Time (ET) business hours.

Position Requirements:

• A minimum of ten (10) years prior public relations and communications experience to include leading projects and supporting and managing federal programs (an emphasis in healthcare is preferred)
• Proven excellent writing and project management skills, an eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage a diverse workload
• Ability to lead and direct federal workstreams to include strategic planning, overseeing delivery, client management, directing all communication, managing deliverable schedules, and more
• Demonstrate strong writing skills for content generation with the ability to edit materials prepared by others to ensure deliverables are client ready
• Strong attention to detail
• Solution-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven and extensive experience in a large-scale integrated Health Care System and with substantive programs focused on Veterans health care and outreach
