What are the responsibilities and job description for the BARISTA/CUSTOMER SERVICER position at DCH Roasters?
Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
Contributes to wellness in a hospital environment by working with pride and professionalism in order to promote a pleasant atmosphere.
Resolves customer concerns with respect and consideration, asking for assistance from a manager when necessary.
Serves quality beverages and food products by following all recipe and presentation criteria.
Gives necessary product descriptions and nutritional details to customers.
Prepares the store for co-workers and customers during each shift.
Guides co-workers in policies and practices.
Advises a manager of any concerns with store operation, customer incidents or co-workers.
Follows all DCH Roasters, Inc. policies, especially concerning safety, security, and cash handling to ensure optimum safety and productivity
Completes opening/closing duties including but not limited to: wrapping and labeling pastries, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, restocking, following store procedures and signing off tasks as listed.
Provides regular and punctual attendance.
Provides updated Immunization records accompanied by a yearly TB screening.
Summary of Experience:
No previous experience required, food/beverage experience a plus.

Able to learn quickly
Understand and carries out instructions and requests clarification if needed
Strong interpersonal skills
Able to balance register drawer, and properly count back change
A team player
Maintain a clean, organized work space
Physical Requirements:
Standing/walking 4-8 hours per shift
Kneeling, crawling, reaching, turning
Pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs.
Usage of stairs and ramps
Usage of espresso bar equipment/register
Flexing or rotation of the wrists and spine
Receiving of detailed information through verbal communication
Verbally repeat orders, greet customers, and communicate with co-workers
