The Implementation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the successful conversion of new banks to the DCI data processing system, maintaining close liaison with customers, and assisting banks in obtaining complete and satisfactory utilization of DCI services. This role would support the management application, including but not limited to security, general ledger, safe deposit, and miscellaneous items.
This position will be located in the corporate office in Hutchinson, KS or remote, based on the location of the candidate.

REQUIREMENTS
The Implementation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the successful conversion of new banks to the DCI data processing system, maintaining close liaison with customers, and assisting banks in obtaining complete and satisfactory utilization of DCI services. This role would support the management application, including but not limited to security, general ledger, safe deposit, and miscellaneous items.

Responsibilities
Bank Conversions
- Obtains and collects data from new client banks.
- Conforms and prepares data for submission to Programmers.
- Performs subsequent testing of data.
- Makes direct contact with client bank immediately following the conversion for consultation and training.
- Assists with design and testing of new projects and enhancements to DCI processing system.
- Provides back-up support to Customer Service Representatives in the Support Center by answering customer questions and concerns about the various DCI software applications.
- Provides consulting and operational audits for clients.
- Prepare written documentation on findings and recommended actions.
- Present documentation and recommended actions to client.
- Perform or assist client in recommended actions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel at least 50%, considering the sales & conversion schedule
- General knowledge of the banking industry and related financial data processing.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, in person and on the phone.
- Excellent leadership skills and conduct of interpersonal relations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related equivalent experience.
- Three or more years work experience for financial institution.
- Knowledge of bank compliance regulations.
- Advanced knowledge of financial computing applications and general PC operations.
- Thorough understanding of DCI operations.
- Advanced PC operation and testing skills, word-processing, and spreadsheet software proficiency, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office, and Windows applications required.
- Knowledge of Oracle databases and tables, and other specialized software and hardware utilized by DCI.
- Possesses sound analytical problem determination and problem-solving skills.
- Effective planning, coordination, time management, and organization skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Normal office working conditions.
- Extensive travel to DCI client financial institution sites.
- Extensive time spent at DCI client financial institution offices during equipment installations and set-ups.
