Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Dcode is looking for a passionate Program Manager to contribute to our fast growing government business! As a program manager, you will lead customer engagements focused on operationalizing innovation in the federal market. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with senior government leaders and helping them foster an innovative culture that attracts emerging technology. You’ll identify new and creative ways to connect the government with startup technology companies, help the government change the way they operate to be more agile and innovative, translate government use cases to private sector speak, and deliver Dcode product offerings to impact government missions. You’ll also work hands-on with the 100 startup technology companies that have graduated from our acceleration program to match their tech with government needs. It's fast paced and exciting!

Salary range: $92,000-$115,000 plus bi-annual bonuses

Security clearance eligibility required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Success

  • Become a trusted advisor and partner for Dcode’s government customers as they work to bring innovative, agile, and integrate cutting-edge technologies into their missions
  • Establish clear client retention goals and milestones, consistently checking in on progress toward goals
  • Anticipate customer needs and proactively craft solutions with support from the customer success leadership team
  • Provide creative, novel perspectives and approaches to how the government operates in the areas of policy, acquisitions, finance, culture, and processes, in order to drive innovation and agility inside their missions
  • Ensure we deliver exceptional quality and superior value-add work to our customers on time and above expectations
  • Deliver workshops, write assessments and reports, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to help customers solve their toughest problems
  • Proactively collect feedback from the customer, review customer concerns and improve the customer experience

Contract Management

  • Review and understand contract terms and conditions to ensure Dcode is compliant with customer contracts at all times
  • Continuously monitor risks and propose solutions for fast resolution
  • Implement strong communication plans with customers related to contract status, risks, issues, opportunities, etc.
  • Monitor contract spending, deliverables, and burn rates; work closely with leadership and operations to ensure timely invoicing and contracting actions
  • Implement solutions efficiency in delivery and ensure target profitability is met

Community Building

  • Identify and facilitate opportunities for our network of government and technology leaders to share ideas, connect, and learn from each other
  • Provide value and mentorship across the entire Dcode community 
  • Help grow the Dcode network of government leaders by engaging government customers and stakeholders in Dcode community events

Qualifications

KEY SKILLS

You’ll learn something new every day in this role. We’ll teach you the ropes but ideal candidates will have:

  • 4 years of relevant work experience
  • A keen ability to listen to customers and discern needs
  • Prior experience delivering and managing relevant government-facing client work 
  • Strong understanding of contract management 
  • Demonstrated interest in one or more of the following areas: government finance and budgeting, processes re-engineering, and/or government culture-change
  • The ability to work without being closely managed and the ability to continuously WOW
  • Ability to challenge customer mindsets and offer alternative ways of approaching work while maintaining professionalism
  • Proven problem-solving, self-management, and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A desire and ability to work in an environment that is welcoming, open, transparent, curious, collaborative, fast, challenging, results-driven, and fun!
