What are the responsibilities and job description for the OSP Construction Technician position at DCOMM, INC?
DCOMM Inc., a leading provider of communication infrastructure services, is seeking experienced construction candidates that assist us in achieving our goals and delivering quality results. As a Construction technician at DCOMM you must have knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques including the placement of poles and anchors, familiarity with a wide range of tools and equipment, ability to read and understand prints/maps, safety rules, and operating instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Fiber Splicing
- Experience in Aerial and Underground construction
- 1 year of Telecommunication Construction experience
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
Responsibilities:
- Assembles / climbs / hangs equipment on poles, buildings, tower.
- Perform daily inspections on rigging equipment.
- Participate in on-the-job training with on-site personnel.
- Assist with work/employee training as directed by management.
- Maintain OSHA safety standards. Any other duties as assigned.
