Location : Lakewood, WA. - Region 5. We have two vacancies in the Lakewood Office.

Salary : $3,006 - $3,974 Monthly
We're looking for a Secretary Senior to join our clerical team at our Lakewood office location and provide administrative support to Social Service Specialists, supervisors, and community partners.

The Opportunity :
As a Secretary Senior, you are crucial in maintaining an efficient and healthy office workflow. Your responsibilities will include performing various complex clerical projects, managing office priorities, and covering other positions in the unit.
This role is responsible for legal case management of court documents, ordering, and managing deliveries.
Some of what you will get to do :
- Greet and assist clients, co-workers, and community members.
- Answer multi-line phone systems, determine next steps to assist customers, and resolve problems.
- Respond to inquiries regarding DCYF procedures and services.
- Coordinate, schedule, and reserve rooms.
- Process service referrals and track / stock office inventory.
- Make travel arrangements for supervisor(s) and staff.
- Use various operating systems and software to create and draft correspondence, document information in the database, and generate reports.
- Compile reports and submit legal documents to court on behalf of social workers and staff.
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assist Social Service Specialists with vehicle reservations and other various requests.
- Assist with State vehicle monitoring; may transport state vehicles for repairs and / or routine maintenance, and schedule repairs.
Required Qualifications :
High school graduation or GED equivalent
two years of increasingly responsible office experience requiring keyboarding or typing.
In addition to those required qualifications, our ideal applicant will also have some or all of the following :
- Experience operating a computer, keyboarding, and utilizing Microsoft Office products.
- Typing speed of 50 WPM.
- Experience drafting, editing, and proofreading memos and other forms of written documents.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
