Director of Admissions & Strategic Marketing

De Smet Jesuit High School invites applications for the position of Director of Admissions and Strategic Marketing. This position is responsible for the strategic recruitment and enrollment of mission-centered students through the execution of a data-driven marketing and recruitment plan; leadership of the Admissions Team, programs, events, and outreach; and development of networking relationships in the school community, with a broad understanding of the competitive marketplace for Catholic schools locally and nationally.

The Director incorporates innovative best practices for secondary education admissions efforts, achieves strategic goals with attention to data-informed details, and will develop and own an overall vision for admissions at De Smet Jesuit, leveraging all cross-discipline work to establish an aligned vision. This position leads the summer camp program and chairs the committee to evaluate and recommend to the Principal for admission those students who meet De Smet Jesuit’s admission criteria.

As a member of De Smet Jesuit’s Leadership Team, this position is expected to know and model the school’s mission and participate in the life of De Smet Jesuit by attending co-curricular activities; faculty and staff meetings; student assemblies; liturgical services; institutional advancement events; parent gatherings; and graduation ceremonies.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, education, educational administration, or related area, and at least five years’ experience in school admissions, Catholic secondary education, recruitment, marketing or sales.
