What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter position at DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Strong ability to screen resumes, interview, and evaluate candidates
· Assess candidates’ skills and abilities and schedule second interviews with hiring managers
· Maintain job postings on the company website, really, LinkedIn and other various posting outlets, both web and print
· Ensure completion of reference checks for all candidates
· Extend job offers and track candidate status within the ATS
· Obtain and provide guidance to new hires on pre-employment requirements including background checks, clearances, and drug screenings
· Assist with new hire set-up in all clinical and non-clinical systems
· Proactively source and recruit candidates by utilizing social media and DeAngelo Contracting Services internal referral program to build a pipeline of passive and active candidates
· Assist Marketing with preparation of recruitment materials and initiatives as needed
· Establish and maintain an ongoing relationship with local universities
· Conduct new hire follow-up’s
· Provide weekly staffing updates to HR Manager
· Comply with all employment laws and demonstrate good judgement
· Actively engage in and provide ideas to assist in the recruitment of top talent
· Attend career fairs in region including university and college fairs
Education, Experience & Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or similar field with 1 to 3 years of healthcare related staffing experience preferred
· Experience with multiple job postings in different geographical locations preferred
· 30 phone interviews per week and willingness to adapt to expectations as needed
· Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with little supervision
· Ongoing commitment to find and retain top talent in a high-volume recruiting environment
· Ability to meet deadlines to ensure appropriate staffing
· Experience with Paychex ATS system, a plus
