TITLE: Video Creator
You’re creative, you love thinking about new and fun ways to make content, you’re naturally keeping a pulse on social media content trends, and you’re a talented video editor and creator with lots of enthusiasm and great communication skills. You have an understanding of the tools and resources necessary to make great social content. You value and understand the importance of speed, creating content for specific social platforms, and value understanding the performance of your creative once it’s distributed.
ABOUT THIS POSITION:
We’re looking to find a skilled video creator to work with us to make incredible social content. Someone who can create strategic content for every social platform for all shows on the Dear Media roster (Instagram, Facebook, Facebook and Instagram stories, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube etc).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will work with cross-department teams and execute on high-end video content for new product launches, seasonal marketing campaigns, brand moments that will be featured on Social and Paid Media channels (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and more).
- Develop and concept videos that bolsters brand love, advocacy, and education
- Produce and edit compelling & impactful social video content on a daily basis
- Edit multiple creative assignments from post-production through distribution while managing assigned project workflow and deadlines
- Contribute in team brainstorming sessions on video and social strategies. Pitch creative ideas on how to edit previous and incoming footage
- Edit branded content with multiple deliverables for sponsors
- Develop and work with various graphic templates to insert them into videos seamlessly
- Communicate with the team to maximize resources and optimize video outputs
- Collaborate with the team in identifying highly marketable moments
- Have an eye out for what is trending and apply those to the video outputs/deliverables
QUALIFICATIONS:
- You must have experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and are familiar with best practices for video creation on different platforms. You must be comfortable handling multiple edits at a time under tight turn-around times.
- Experience creating daily video content for social platforms, as well as filming and strategizing creative in fast paced environments
- Strong executional understanding in how to make impactful micro content for specific audiences and platforms
- Understands the executional ins and outs of making video content for social platforms (sequence settings, key framing, captioning graphics)
- Experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro, and the entire Adobe creative suite
- Able to work a full frame DSLR, manual settings, audio monitoring
- Knowledge of cameras and camera equipment
