Deborah Berke Partners is an architecture and interior design practice that for over thirty years has made true-to-place projects around the country and the world. Over time, we have built a wide range of experience in projects for colleges and universities, cultural institutions, private residences, boutique hotels, office and multifamily developments, and buildings for mission-driven clients. The firm provides a full range of services, from master planning to architecture and interior design.

Deborah Berke Partners is seeking an Entry Level Interiors Designer for our residential interior design department. The Designer will assist on multiple interior design projects in the firm.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate with 0-2 years of design experience preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel); familiarity with Rhino, VRay, Enscape, and Revit desired
  • Excellent graphic, communication, and organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, thrives in a collaborative environment and understands the importance of supporting design team members
  • Demonstrated proficiency with design, technical design, planning, and presentation tasks
  • Pro-active, self-disciplined, and confident in a fast-paced working environment
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and hands-on
  • Ability to work on and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Possess all legal permits and visas required to work in the U.S.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Multilingual would be preferred; please note language abilities

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience. The salary range for this position is $58,000 to $68,000. Only candidates whose skills match the minimum requirements above should apply.
